It's not all running errands. Sometimes it's things like monster hunting or escorting people from one place to another. Or sometimes it is an errand, but the thing people need is out in the wilds and you need to go gather it or hunt it down.

It really all depends on what kinds of work you like to do. There's a lot of people here, so there's not really ever a shortage of tasks.
