See, Marianne does something like that when the guy I like comes up, like make Italian wedding soup or tell me to get terribly punny Valentine's day cards or sends me inspiration for the big gay wedding she and Cat are gonna insist I have, because she thinks she's funny and she also wants me to be happy and thinks Alexandre and I are a cute couple and apparently I take after my dad in the "ain't saying shit" department so she's compelled to try and push me into doing it.
