People with magic are more naturally aware of ambient magic and that which helps it flow- like open nature. There's a certain level of ambient mana before things get... bad, but not having enough is bad too. ... I'm sure that's the same everywhere, but like. It might not be. But anyways, my magic isn't back yet, so I'm not as attuned to things. Which sucks.
