October Mingle
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
The Miko of the Grand Narukami Shrine has arranged for your passage out of Ritou and into the Inazuma islands at large. The nation has been gripped by an oppressive atmosphere ever since the enactment of the Vision Hunt Decree, and only someone unyoked by the Electro Archon can hope to break this stalemate.

Konda Village sits on the outskirts of Inazuma city. A pillar of its community now seeks to move out after losing his Vision. A samurai employed by the Shogunate is being accosted of hiding rations by his neighbours, and he has no recollection of ever dealing in such matters. Forgetting something seems to be the thread that links every former Vision holder's story together, yet their tragedies differ greatly in circumstance. Is the loss of a Vision truly so profound? If so, then why did the gods deliver such a poisoned gift to their people?

A mysterious priestess approaches you with a sincere request - Kazari seeks your aid in purifying the Thunder Sakura around Inazuma, as well as the Sacred Sakura on Mount Yougou. She tells you that these trees absorb the evil from the very land, but cannot dispel it without outside intervention. Here's where you come in: you need to dispel the sealing sigils around the holy trees, so that the filth accumulated within their roots can take form and then be swiftly cut down.
The seals, the trees, and Kazari herself are relics from the olden days - the mystical Inazuma, where kitsune and tengu lived and worked alongside humans and their god. But those days have since ended, and all that is left is a stifling eternity.
State of the World
The Land of Eternity is not without failings. By pursuing 'Eternity' and closing the doors of her nation, the Raiden Shogun has only made the lives of her people more difficult. Exploring the country may give you some clues as to how you can break her enforced stasis. You must first understand the situation of the nation, and then find the natives who also wish to change their world.

With energy this concentrated, you may get your wish.
[It was so thick here he imagines even a normal person would be able to pick up on the energy. ]
Mm. We're to redirect the electro energy flow using some devices.
[he looks around, taking note of the surrounding. He points at some posts that have been placed around strategically] Though things, perhaps.

[She doesn't want to cause an overload and get them all blown up, she has to be a good big sister. And while she seems unbothered, the energy here is even causing her wing feathers to ruffle and bristle.
But she peers over at the post and goes over to examine one of them, examining them with an idle curiosity. Activating it seems to send out little beams to... the posts which have two of those magatama shapes above it. Then there's that pattern displayed in those shrine gates...]
Maybe we have to copy what's being shown? It seems like this has to go in a certain order.
no subject
He too is examining them as well, as well as the pattern on the shrine gate. He doesn't say anything until she does, nodding]
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I'm assuming the one that shoots the charge is the starting point, so....
[He points to posts in order, glancing at displayed pattern be sure] - That order?
no subject
Ana watches the order he points in, glancing between the posts and the pattern before nodding. So if she heads to this post over here... A few pokes change the number of magatama to three. So it should be easy enough to set the order.
She flits over to the other posts, adjusting the order before she makes her way back to the first - canting her head slightly as she glances over at Jun.]
Okay, let's see if that works.

He heads back over to meet with Ana when he's finished. With a nod, he'll set off the charge. Sure enough, it goes the correct path, and the seal in front of the Sakura unlocks.
And as it does so, a figure of dark energy forms- taking shape into a tall swordsman. It draws its blade, ready to attack]
Look out!
[Jun shouts, already summoning his weapon]
no subject
Which, in her opinion, makes this even better.]
Finally, something a little more fun!
[She summons her weapon as well, the claymore materializing at her side - there's no hesitation as she charges forward and swings it down in an arc, forcing them to focus on her for the moment. Though she is still being mindful of the electro energy around them, the flames of her vision absent from her weapon at the moment.]
no subject
The manifestation is swift though, being energy rather than an actual person. It's able to parry Jun's blow immediately. And then it shoots itself past Ana, reforming behind her and attempting a swing at her]
no subject
It's not with fire, however, but light tainted with streaks of black. A gift bestowed upon her when she
marriedbonded with her partner - though it's unlike Jun's power and seems more like raw, but still tainted, energy than anything else. But at least using this will guarantee she won't accidentally blow themselves up.]no subject
It then takes a huge swing at her claymore block, one with enough force that'll it'll knock her back if it connects]
no subject
Maybe she should eat it. She's really tempted. She really wants to - ]
Jun, you're gonna be more useful here than I am! [But she won't. Her powers are no use, but that doesn't mean she still can't beat the shit out of this thing with brute force.]
no subject
It's made of tainted energy!
[He helpfully points out the kind bullshit this is. But right. Time to stop being less of a support role. While the thing is focusing on Ana, he'll raise his hand and six arrows of light will manifest themselves. They hurl themselves directly at the target with great force and a homing kind of tracking. The hope seems to be that he can't parry them all, surely]
no subject
[Dragonspine taught her that lesson well, even if it's infuriating to have what's supposed to be a simple opponent for her be an absolute pain in the ass.
But fine, whatever. At least it won't be a boring fight.
While he aims those arrows at their opponent, Ana turns and brings her claymore down hard on them. They block the hit, but her strength means it can't just shrug her off immediately. There's enough time between that and them kicking at her to push her off that half of the arrows hit their mark, before it parries the rest.
Ana, meanwhile, manages to dodge the hit with a flap of her wings before striking again. She can at least be a very annoying and persistent distraction.]
no subject
[Is he still finding time to bicker with his sister during all this? Yes. Yes he is.
But even with that, his focus is still mostly on the fight. He trusted in Ana's ability to distract. The creature stumbles from the volleys and attempts to move towards Jun- but Ana's sudden attack gets in its way, making it unable to move past her as the hits connect. So it once again tries to take a swing at her, trying to cut her down.
Jun meanwhile fires off another volley. If this keeps up, they should be able to deal with this being swiftly even if Ana doesn't get to nom it.]
no subject
[Bickering while dealing with a tainted energy samurai? ☆*Just Sibling Things*☆
But she can certainly keep up her current role as a distraction, aggressive enough that she won't let the swordsman pull its attention from her. When she side-steps to dodge the swing, it takes that moment to try to dodge past the volley and charge at Jun once more. Which Ana brings a swift stop to with a vicious swing of her claymore to its side, digging it in and using the momentum to push it back towards her.
This also makes it an open target for Jun's attack, this time unable to parry while it tries to dislodge Ana's weapon.]
no subject
That's just the right kind of distraction that Jun needs. While the being is trying to dislodge from Ana's weapon, Jun switches tactics. Instead of small arrows, he conjures up on massive lance of light. ]
Now die!
[He sends the lance shooting forward- fully intending on impaling the swordsmen while he's open]
