October Mid-Month Event
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Two weeks after the Travelers arrive in Inazuma, the conflict between the Shogunate and the Sangonomiya Resistance begin to intensify. At Forneus' behest, you venture west to survey the battlegrounds and consider your next move.

Once again, a stalemate that can only be broken from the outside. This isn't anything new now, is it?
State of the World
The Sangonomiya Resistance have declared civil war on the Shogunate after the establishment of the Vision Hunt Decree. As you travel through Inazuma, you will eventually meet them, as well as their leader. It becomes evident that the two sides are locked in equal balance, and that the civil war does nothing good for anyone... which is why the overseer of the Narukami Shrine has asked you to come. You are unbound by any destiny, and thus able to tip the scales. But to do that, you will need a complete picture of the situation, and to solve problems that no one is willing to face.
No one has seen the Shogun out in public for quite a while. It seems that only a sufficiently grave danger will provoke her from within her castle. The enemy of eternity is change, and you are just that.

I can see how that too would be naturally troublesome.
[ The feel of resentment is not unlike being in the Underworld. It's offputting, but all the same he doesn't find himself too affected by it, which is unsurprising. That's not going to be the case for the others, however, and he knows it. ]
I did, yes. But I didn't think have much to think of it when I did.
What are your thoughts on it?

Only on the bones. Why? [The seals have been broken on this island. In dragonspine it was the blood of a fallen dragon. Here-]
I wonder if it is like dragonspine. But there is no cold to contain the fallen’s fury.

[ The similarities between them in a sense are not unknown to him now that Shirou has pointed it out. ]
If that's the case, then it's all the more reason to finish up with the situation in the first place. As it is, it can be another factor into why the resentment present feels oppressive.
[ And has been causing problems. ]

His ears swivel and he turns to the east.] There’s a hum coming from that way.
[Without a word he follows the sound.]

A hum?
[ Ledah follows shortly, though he's already brought his Diviner to his hand, wielding it tightly. Because of course he's ready for things to get rough the more they explore around here.
But honestly, it is all more likely to be the Mikage Furnace, isn't it? ]

He snorts.] The sound is bounced around but, there.
[He walks towards it with his ears shifting. A village near it looks deserted. To the right more of those devices seen around the islands sputter and spark. A possible reason Shirou was so turned around at first.
And ahead of them it looks like the island was split along a perfect line. The rushing sound of water gets louder.]
