Item A dried Glaze Lily

[ Minako arrives somewhere else in the blink of an eye. This place is distinctly different from the Mondstadt that she just left - the skies are a boundless azure, yet there's a certain lightness to the wind that blows through her hair. The earth here is pristine, untainted by millennia of memories that are to come.

There's just one problem, though. Minako seems to be stuck on a rather high pillar without her glider. If only someone could help her down... well, there's certainly someone in a white cloak passing by below. She could call out to them. ]

[Minako could try to monkey her way down bit by bit. She certainly needs the stamina training. But asking someone for help is infinitely faster, so she peeks down from her perch and whistles sharply to catch the person's attention.]

Excuse me? Up top, above you~ Could I bother you to find a ladder for me?

[ The man looks up - his face is definitely familiar to Minako, but the sternness of his expression isn't. His eyes narrow a little against the sun so he can see who she is. Rather strange for a human to get up there... and now she wants to come down.

A normal person would get a ladder to help Minako down. However, Morax is not a normal person. ]

Jump. I will catch you.

[ He holds out his arms. Looks like he's serious about this??? ]

[Ah. Oh no. If she'd known the flower was connected to Zhongli's memories, she wouldn't have touched it...is there a way to stop the memory visions? Minako takes a moment to focus really hard on waking up, as if she were in a lucid dream— though with the way her expression twists, it might look to Morax as if she's contemplating the merits of jumping down to him, instead.

When she's still in the memory vision a few moments later, Minako sighs and carefully stands up on the pillar. Nothing she can do but see the memory through to the end, then.

And she flings herself off the top, plummeting down towards him. Because this is actually the second time in Teyvat she's thrown herself off a tall height for someone to catch her, so she has no qualms with it.]

[ Morax simply waits, as if he's 100% confident that he'll catch her... which he does. Her downward acceleration comes to a sudden but comfortable halt once she falls into Morax's arms. He's very firm for a person - very solid, a brief sensation of stability that quickly fades once he puts her down and lets go. ]

You are unharmed?

[ A question. Seems like this version of Zhongli is quite curt. ]

[She bounces onto her feet once he sets her down, grinning up at him.]

I'm fine! Thank you so much.

[Hm, well...now that she's down here, what should she do? Try and follow Zhongli to where he's going to see the memory through? She doesn't want to see anything so private of his, but she's not sure that she'd wake up if she sat here doing nothing either. And sitting around doing nothing isn't her way of doing things to begin with!

She'll just have to tell him later and apologize. For now, it's a perfect chance to explore. This place definitely isn't Mondstadt.]

Do you mind if I follow you for a little bit? Just until I see a familiar landmark. I got a little lost while I was out hunting.

[ That sounds reasonable as a request. Morax would not leave a human girl out in the plains, that's for sure. Even if she isn't from the city, he would still see her to safety. ]

You can come with me.

[ Since he's done with his walk, he will head back to the First City. The buildings of the place are visible in the distance - it will take some time for them to reach there, but it wouldn't tire Minako out either. ]

[Memory!Zhongli doesn't seem to be much of a conversationalist, but that's fine. Minako's known how to entertain herself ever since she was a child. She properly walks alongside him for a while, but soon enough she's walking a little bit ahead or trailing a little bit behind, inspecting interesting parts of the land around them, not unlike a puppy that's scenting the trail and exploring under the safety of their owner's watchful eye.]

Oh! There's a lot of these blue flowers from earlier... [She kneels next to one, humming with delight as she pets the petals.] So pretty.

[ The human girl is excitable, and while Morax's stern attitude doesn't falter, he does try to keep an eye on her when she wanders too far away from him. Her attitude tells him that she isn't from this area at all, or never paid attention to her surroundings. Then again, people coming from far away isn't odd at this point in time. It's their human shape that is. ]

These are Glaze Lilies, [ he replies after a while, finally turning from his path to join Minako's side. ] They are favoured by the Lord of Dust.
