[ By his logic, it was a reasonable doubt to have. Even though they were more than a normal civilian or mortal, they were not gods. Even if some of them may be divine in nature, all who were called here were, once again, not gods. As far as Ledah knew, anyway.

But as he considered Rean's question, one he could see Ein posing should he have been in this situation, he could only reconcile it with the fact that a god had thought them capable. And for a being such as he, who had been created for the gods, he decided that would have to be enough.

With that thought, Ledah will turn his gaze back to Rean. ]


...It has been said once that prayer from the people are what give gods power. It could be nonsense for that to be true here, but in the end, what are such beings without mortals?

Regardless of what is true, we have a duty to carry out our mission. For now, we do what we must, and keep going. We have no other choice but to do so, as otherwise the sacrifices that have been made would be meaningless, and eventually the situation may worsen. Even if any of us may feel uncertain, those are the facts.
