June Mingle: Time For A Hike
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Finally, it's time to leave Death Mountain for warmer climates. THe Travelers will begin their journey from Mondstadt to Liyue on the first of November, after packing up and saying goodbye the Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. But worry not - if you ever miss the City of Wind and Song, it's possible to teleport back for a brief visit.

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?

Speaking of Forneus, it seems that he's too busy to accompany you on this road trip. Instead, Zhongli will serve as his stand-in. For those who do not know him well, he introduces himself as an Adeptus... and also the Geo Archon, who has enlisted your help to test his nation. What will you do?

State of the World

June will be a lighter period in the game for characters to bond with each other while traveling as a group, and later while exploring and trolling Liyue to the best of their ability. Forneus will not be available for the first two weeks as he is busy; instead Zhongli is tasked with answering questions in his place. A reference of the scenery your character might see on the way can be found in this video here! Feel free to check out Liyue's music here as well.

If there is a voice, and it turns out not to be the leylines, it must be a spirit. If we defeat it, we should capture it in a bottle for future use.

[Not that he's ever personally done it due to the rarity of poes, but he really has no reason to believe it wouldn't work.]

[But more important, bitch wants to do what with the spirit? The last time someone tried something like that around Jun, lots of people nearly died and it scarred him with a guilt complex. Sooga unwittingly suggested this to the worst person possible]

[Which would be stupid. Drinking malicious spirits can't be good for your health, even if he suspects several of their compatriots absolutely would do it anyway.]

[Yeah sorry Sooga. This is just a sore subject for him, one he's even more wary to trust because someone had tricked him along the way. Insistences that everything would be alright and they wouldn't hurt anyone .... only for the exact opposite to turn out to be true.

Though...chances are, the stories are nothing but exaggerated. The local archon would've done something if this place is really as dangerous as the stories say.

[Of the stories being likely exaggerated or of Hu Tao's presence? Yes. Now, he hadn't exactly known about her abilities, but he does in fact know everyone's names.]

The original drownings may have happened, but anything stronger than one of the monster's victims lingering in regret is unlikely at worst.

[He looks towards the hill.]

[Yep, what was supposed to be a fun trip has turned awkward. Oh well, it'd still be good to check things out to get a sense of things. He doesn't have anything to add to what Sooga says, so he'll just make an "mm" noise before turning to walk towards the hill.

It's a steep climb, but nothing compared to the mountain they were just on. However even though it was a sunny day just moments before, as they enter the hill- a sense of gloom and gray seems to permeate over everything]

[Awkward is unfortunately not an unlikely outcome you ask along someone who usually only gets asked places when things seem like they might go sideways. He doesn't really do anything to lift the mood on the way either, choosing not to break the silence until the hill's gloom settles in.]

There's a higher level of spirit energy than on the main road. We're not just imagining the atmosphere change.
