June Mingle: Time For A Hike
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Finally, it's time to leave Death Mountain for warmer climates. THe Travelers will begin their journey from Mondstadt to Liyue on the first of November, after packing up and saying goodbye the Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. But worry not - if you ever miss the City of Wind and Song, it's possible to teleport back for a brief visit.

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?

Speaking of Forneus, it seems that he's too busy to accompany you on this road trip. Instead, Zhongli will serve as his stand-in. For those who do not know him well, he introduces himself as an Adeptus... and also the Geo Archon, who has enlisted your help to test his nation. What will you do?

State of the World

June will be a lighter period in the game for characters to bond with each other while traveling as a group, and later while exploring and trolling Liyue to the best of their ability. Forneus will not be available for the first two weeks as he is busy; instead Zhongli is tasked with answering questions in his place. A reference of the scenery your character might see on the way can be found in this video here! Feel free to check out Liyue's music here as well.

Really? [Huh!] Now that I think about it, I don't know much about your homeland.

[He knows bits and pieces here and there, but it's usually things like oh yeah fighting gods, dangerous monsters, etc]

It's pretty amazing! There's so much to see, I hardly know what to do first. I get why Zhongli's always talking about it.

Most people don't.

[That's rather cryptic, but it's probably not worth dwelling on. She's told Jun of the general situation in Eorzea (which is always a cluster), but not much about where she's actually from.]

It certainly matches Zhongli's style, I think. Would you like to check out one of the tea shops?

Haha, right.

[Yep that is cryptic af. And to jun, it reads as code for "don't ask". Which you know what? Jun is the last person to harp about keeping your past a secret- so he'll respect that]

Sure! I think there's one not far from here. Maybe after we finish shopping?

[She respects that in turn. Perhaps one day she'll be better about facing her past, but it doesn't look like today is that day. Fortunately, it's not like it matters here, anyway.]

I would be fine with that. What do you need?

[Or "want?" But Jun doesn't seem like the type to shop for frivolous goods when they aren't related to anime.]

[ Facing your past is for chumps and "therapy" whatever that is. They're fine!!!]

Haha, well mostly I wanted to look at the styles here! See if there's anything that'd suit me.

[In other words, yeah, he's being frivolous. Or rather, on his eternal quest to find an actual fashion style]

I'm sure we can find something.

[Those are dangerous words. Say goodbye to "tsundere sister Rose" and hello to "overbearing sister" Rose.]

Now, where should we begin?

[It's ok he loves overbearing sister Rose]

Hmm...probably with some nice traveling clothes. Oh, and some shoes with comfortable heels.

[HE WANTS HEIGHT]

Something to make you taller, is it?

[Rose grins as she spots something in the distance. She brings a pair of odd-looking boots for Jun to try on. Why does Liyue even have boots like this? It's probably best not to ask.]

[Way to call him out!!! Let him live.

But uh wow. Those. Sure are boots. ]

Haha...can't say I've worn that style before! Sure, I'll try them on.

[He'll take them and move to sit down on a bench to put on.] ... How do they look?

[As Jun puts the boots on, Rose stifles a chuckle. They look absolutely ridiculous. Just as she expected.]

Well, they do certainly add height. And a bit of flair, too.

[Absolutely too much flair.]

[ROSE YOU GREMLIN...

Jun at least isn't COMPLETELY naive. He's had friends long enough to figure out when someone's messing with you. He watches her reaction for a moment before looking back at the shoes with skepticism. Then he gets up, and tries taking a couple steps-]

...It feels like I attached blocks to my feet. [his balance feels so off] Heels would be better.

["Rose is an angel and would never play a prank on her friends," is not a sentence that anyone would say about her, ever. Still, that's enough for now, and when it's clear that Jun is having trouble moving (really, who wouldn't in those boots), she takes out a pair of shoes with a small that are more appropriate.]

These won't give you much height, but they're likely to work better.

[He watches her pull out those second pair of shoes quickly. Yep. It's clicking. He was being messed with]

Ha...I had a feeling you were messing with me.

[He's not mad though! He'll move to sit back down and take off those dang boots, reaching to grab the new shoes]

Mm, these are much better!

They do suit you quite nicely.

[See! She’s not awful all the time. Just most of it.]

Try pairing it with this.

[At which point she pulls out a short-sleeved shirt. It appears to be a style that’s popular in Liyue.]

Oh! That shirt looks lovely!

[He DOES like the color blue and it's not too different from his usual style. He'll take the shirt and put it front of him, looking down.]

I think it looks good, but is there a changing room here...?
