June Mingle: Time For A Hike
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Finally, it's time to leave Death Mountain for warmer climates. THe Travelers will begin their journey from Mondstadt to Liyue on the first of November, after packing up and saying goodbye the Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. But worry not - if you ever miss the City of Wind and Song, it's possible to teleport back for a brief visit.

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?

Speaking of Forneus, it seems that he's too busy to accompany you on this road trip. Instead, Zhongli will serve as his stand-in. For those who do not know him well, he introduces himself as an Adeptus... and also the Geo Archon, who has enlisted your help to test his nation. What will you do?

State of the World

June will be a lighter period in the game for characters to bond with each other while traveling as a group, and later while exploring and trolling Liyue to the best of their ability. Forneus will not be available for the first two weeks as he is busy; instead Zhongli is tasked with answering questions in his place. A reference of the scenery your character might see on the way can be found in this video here! Feel free to check out Liyue's music here as well.

Well... there are plenty of things that don't seem edible until you know how to use them. I mean, I guess it's a little different here, but back home I didn't usually look at a boar and think "mmm, dinner," y'know?

And I mean, like I said, it might be edible for us, it might not.

Should I keep it?

Oh, really? [Other people's worlds are so fascinating.] What kind of place did you come from? More urban?

[...His inner nerd is activating. Run, Roxas! As for keeping it...]

...I mean, if you have space for it and you want to, I don't see why not. I'm sure we can figure out how to do something with it eventually.

[Maybe if they ask around at the restaurants in Liyue, they can figure something out.]

A town that's looking a lot more like a city nowadays. There's a forest, but it's hidden behind a tall wall and there's only little animals there.

Hmm. That's interesting. Even out in the cities, it's hard to keep larger creatures too far from the city gates. We've at least manage to corral them out on the highways, [And his idea of a "highway" is probably very different from Roxas'...] but they definitely get way bigger than the little squirrels we've seen out here.

Well, if you find out what it's used for, let me know, would you? Now I'm kind of interested.

Would it be bad for the big animals to get in?

[Nodding, Roxas makes a mental note of that.]

Yeah. But if it's something gross, I don't think I'll share... That would be rude.

I mean... I guess it would probably depend on the creature? But I think overall, yeah. The best case scenario is that it would just be a disturbance to the townsfolk, but with the wrong creature... well, best not to dwell on that sort of thing, I think.

[Rean smiles reassuringly at the comment about it being 'rude', though.]

Haha, no worries about that. Call it... oh, I don't know. Scientific curiosity?

Not that I'm an instructor of science or anything like that, but I think if you're a teacher at all, you ought to have some interest in learning whatever you can.

Oh. I don't know a lot of big animals, but we have other big things we try to keep out of towns.
