MAY MINGLE

May Mingle: Entombed City
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Everyone's hard work resulted in the gate to upper Dragonspine opening. These ruins have not been traversed in years, if not centuries - everything within has been lost to time and living memory. An entire city has been buried in the snow.

Traces of technology can be found in the city - golden boxes that contain crystals capable of recording and playing back holograms. One of the boxes introduces this place as Vindagnyr; a land once full of greenery and life. Just what happened to these people? What caused the eternal winter?

The city's inhabitants worshipped Celestia. Why then were they left to die?
State of the World
On October 1st, the entombed city of Vindagnyr becomes open for exploration. Travelers can choose to look for clues or try to scavenge the city for ancient materials or tools. Recording boxes all around the city tell stories of Vindagnyr's greener past, and of the days when winter suddenly arrived. This is the cruelty of Celestia that Forneus wished you to see.
For all questions regarding May's mingle and events, please head over to our OOC post.

It sounds strange. Not like a real dragon.
[ dvalin's roar is still fresh in his mind, as if it were only yesterday that they'd fought. it almost sounded like that, but... off. and with all the talk of the corrupted remains of a dead dragon in the meeting... this really won't be good. ]

Which means her course is now set towards them, another twisted roar escaping her as she lands before them and charges, uncaring of who she attacks first. While she can't set anyone on fire thanks to the winter of the mountain, she does still have the strength of the dragon.]

Ah.
(He recognizes her. It's Ana. And yet, that doesn't stop him from drawing his sword,)
It looks like our friend has gotten into some trouble, Kara.
(Corruption. How familiar,)
Let's take care of it.
(Before others come. Before anyone can get hurt.)

he recognizes ana from around the camp, from the meetings, but it means nothing to him except that he knows who to aim his judgment at, and boy is he judging. do warnings mean nothing to this girl? and without the saniwa, there is only one way that kara knows to fight corruption.
he draws his sword. ]
Let's go.
[ he charges to meet ana with a wide sweep of his blade. ]

Right now though, all her mind can focus on are the potential playmate in front of her; her charge doesn't falter even when the sword is swung towards her. Ducking under the blade with her next charge bolstered by the flap of her wings - considering her horns, her possibly barrelling into Ookurikara like this would hurt.
Though thanks to her current mind state, she hasn't taken into account Tsurumaru being there.]

-- You're wide open!
(He kicks off, leaping to close that last bit of distance and brings his sword to slash at her wings-- hopefully enough to throw her off balance.)
Kara!
(Unfortunately for Ana, Tsuru and Kara have fought together plenty of times. They know each other's styles and know they'll have each other's backs. Together, they're powerful.)

whether or not it works, he follows up immediately with a jab at her back. ]
