MAY MINGLE

May Mingle: Entombed City
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Everyone's hard work resulted in the gate to upper Dragonspine opening. These ruins have not been traversed in years, if not centuries - everything within has been lost to time and living memory. An entire city has been buried in the snow.

Traces of technology can be found in the city - golden boxes that contain crystals capable of recording and playing back holograms. One of the boxes introduces this place as Vindagnyr; a land once full of greenery and life. Just what happened to these people? What caused the eternal winter?

The city's inhabitants worshipped Celestia. Why then were they left to die?
State of the World
On October 1st, the entombed city of Vindagnyr becomes open for exploration. Travelers can choose to look for clues or try to scavenge the city for ancient materials or tools. Recording boxes all around the city tell stories of Vindagnyr's greener past, and of the days when winter suddenly arrived. This is the cruelty of Celestia that Forneus wished you to see.

She won't say no to help though, rolling her shoulders to try to ease the ache and then wincing.]
Everywhere. [A beat -]
Mostly my sides, though.

Here, make yourself comfortable on this cot. Would you like some sugar?
[ just going to offer her a bowl full of magical sugar crystals. surely his fellow adventures have heard of doctor figaro's magic sugar, right? ]
no subject
Sure she may have heard something about it, but it sounded suspicious. And it still seems suspicious.]
Uh... What is it, exactly? Seems kinda suspect to me.

It's magic sugar made by yours truly. It'll help with the healing process. Also, poisoning you or anything like that wouldn't benefit me in any way, so I'd suggest having a little lick.
[ he sits beside her now, manifesting his catalyst on his palm as he begins the examination. ]
In any case, let me see the worst damage.

But she glances between Figaro and the offered sugar, before deciding to listen and swipe her finger through it. The lick of said finger doesn't result in any horrible side effects, and she can actually feel it helping? Guess he's not sus then.]
Like I said, it's mostly my sides. My arms really hurt as well... [Which isn't surprising considering how much she got tossed about. But okay, off comes the coat with some careful manoeuvring.]

[ getting possessed by a cursed dragon should come with more than slight collateral damage, but figaro supposes that this is better than losing an important comrade like that.
he touches ana's arm and mutters his spell. ] Possideo.
[ her arm glows a little as her body magically heals itself a little faster than normal, a wave of refreshing calm washing over her as his catalyst glows with magic. now, while he patches her up, he may as well dabble in some small talk. ]
Well, then. How are the others?

[Though she may have fractured something? It hurts all over, so its hard to pinpoint exactly. But she peeks over and watches curiously as the calming glow of his magic rushes over her. Letting herself relax a little now with a soft sigh.]
Barely a scratch on them. They're well coordinated, so I couldn't do much against them.

[ just popcorning over the sakuga-level fight scene she'd had against two swordboys. ]
I'm glad you were able to snap out of it while you can. It's a dragon with a nasty curse, after all. I'm surprised it was even possible to get him out of your system in the first place. [ hmm. ] But can you still feel his presence inside you?
no subject
[At least she's not remotely salty about what happened, since she did kinda deserve getting her ass beat. Despite her ego still hurting over it.]
Nope, I feel nothing. When I snapped out of it, I saw his death... So I'm taking that as him being officially evicted.
[Though if she wasn't what she is, would it have been different? Maybe it's best not to think too deep about it.]
Besides, someone purified me enough that he should be gone completely. And if he's still an issue, I can ask someone to knock sense into me again.
