MAY MINGLE

May Mingle: Entombed City
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Everyone's hard work resulted in the gate to upper Dragonspine opening. These ruins have not been traversed in years, if not centuries - everything within has been lost to time and living memory. An entire city has been buried in the snow.

Traces of technology can be found in the city - golden boxes that contain crystals capable of recording and playing back holograms. One of the boxes introduces this place as Vindagnyr; a land once full of greenery and life. Just what happened to these people? What caused the eternal winter?

The city's inhabitants worshipped Celestia. Why then were they left to die?
State of the World
On October 1st, the entombed city of Vindagnyr becomes open for exploration. Travelers can choose to look for clues or try to scavenge the city for ancient materials or tools. Recording boxes all around the city tell stories of Vindagnyr's greener past, and of the days when winter suddenly arrived. This is the cruelty of Celestia that Forneus wished you to see.

[ Forneus doesn't employ any elemental magic. It's just him and his scythe coming at Ana at terrifying speeds. He's not using his temporal abilities either. It seems like he wants it to be a fair fight. [

But okay, she needs to be serious about this now. Luckily she has some training in fighting things faster and stronger than her, but it's a lot harder to do as a mortal. Also, most of that training involved things like dragons, not gods.
She brings her claymore up to try and block the scythe, twisting herself around and attempting to use the momentum of his speed to push it past her. Her twisting around also means she can try to aim a knee towards his side too.]

He does ease off on his weapon strikes for now, springing back so that there's space between them. For a small guy he's pretty fast. ]

She knows this isn't his real body, but she expected some kind of give considering his habit of making his head fall apart when she punched him. Note to self, don't try that again.
Though rather than close the distance - why is he so fast ugh - she relies on her Vision instead to let the pain in her knee abate. Swinging her claymore in a wide, horizontal arc to send a wave of flame towards him.]

[She's starting to Not Like them, if only because they're being annoying right now and also seemed to be draining Zhongli, even if they did make an agreement. She doubts her corruption magic can do anything against that shield either.
It's in front of him so... Time to shift to the side and charge from that angle.]
