June Mingle: Time For A Hike
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Finally, it's time to leave Death Mountain for warmer climates. THe Travelers will begin their journey from Mondstadt to Liyue on the first of November, after packing up and saying goodbye the Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. But worry not - if you ever miss the City of Wind and Song, it's possible to teleport back for a brief visit.

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?

Speaking of Forneus, it seems that he's too busy to accompany you on this road trip. Instead, Zhongli will serve as his stand-in. For those who do not know him well, he introduces himself as an Adeptus... and also the Geo Archon, who has enlisted your help to test his nation. What will you do?

State of the World

June will be a lighter period in the game for characters to bond with each other while traveling as a group, and later while exploring and trolling Liyue to the best of their ability. Forneus will not be available for the first two weeks as he is busy; instead Zhongli is tasked with answering questions in his place. A reference of the scenery your character might see on the way can be found in this video here! Feel free to check out Liyue's music here as well.

[Jun also loves heights. So when Roxas ascends to the top of one such scenic hilltop ... Jun will already be at the top, admiring the view stretched out.

When he sees Roxas, he look momentarily surprised, before settling on a polite smile. He's kept his distance a little since Roxas's arrival, but guess there's no avoiding things now]

Oh, hey Roxas.

[Ah. Someone else is here already! No matter. Roxas nods and looks around to get the view in.]

It's nice up here.

[But should he go higher and leave Jun alone... He hasn't exactly been looking to find the other for conversation either.]

Mm, it is, isn't it? Did you come up here to see it too?

[It's small talk, but hey at least it's something]

Sort of. I wanted to see how high this was.

[Could go higher. Just need to rest for a moment.]

I want to find a place where I can see everything.

I see. That's why I'm up here too.

If you go a little higher, I'm sure you will be able to see further. Just be careful, the higher cliffs seem a little unstable.

I think I'd be fine. Climbing isn't that hard.

Climbing's not the problem, it's the rocks...

[He is a geo vision wielder that's been studying under the Geo Archon for six months. He knows something about rocks!!! But whatever if Roxas is going to insist on going he won't do more to stop him]

[... He'll be careful. As careful as the average cryo user can be... At least it's not freezing here so Roxas should have more energy for exploring.]

Yeah. I know how to use it, too. But it might be fun to jump and see far you can fall before having to use it.

[Since back home he didn't even need a glider. He could just land on his feet.]

I would have told you if I didn't want that. I'm not like Vanitas who just burns every bridge over one bad thing.

Alright ... but we're not working right now, Roxas. We're on vacation.

... this is the weirdest vacation.

[Vacations were supposed to be restful???]

Yeah. It still feels like we're working... Vacations are supposed to be restful. No fighting, no working. Just hanging out and sleeping a lot. Exploring is fine during vacations as long as you still rest.

[Resting was the number one most important part.]

[Jun goes quiet, looking actually a momentarily distraught at this explanation. He doesn't understand...he's been researching for months, ever since Zhongli invited him to see Liyue. He didn't think he's been working since coming here, but...Roxas was saying otherwise. Was he doing something wrong? Did he mess up with this whole "vacation" idea?]

[....No. That's not right. Zhongli promised him vacation time and Zhongli doesn't break his promises. And really, looking back on past interactions, Roxas is almost never happy with anything so of course he'd find a way to gripe. ]

It means you're always griping if things don't hold up exactly to your standards. Standards that aren't even fair!

Just now, you were unhappy because I was just polite to you, and then you turn around and describe me just as "someone you'll work with even though you disagree with me". How's that better?
