June Mingle: Time For A Hike
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Finally, it's time to leave Death Mountain for warmer climates. THe Travelers will begin their journey from Mondstadt to Liyue on the first of November, after packing up and saying goodbye the Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild. But worry not - if you ever miss the City of Wind and Song, it's possible to teleport back for a brief visit.

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?

Speaking of Forneus, it seems that he's too busy to accompany you on this road trip. Instead, Zhongli will serve as his stand-in. For those who do not know him well, he introduces himself as an Adeptus... and also the Geo Archon, who has enlisted your help to test his nation. What will you do?

State of the World

June will be a lighter period in the game for characters to bond with each other while traveling as a group, and later while exploring and trolling Liyue to the best of their ability. Forneus will not be available for the first two weeks as he is busy; instead Zhongli is tasked with answering questions in his place. A reference of the scenery your character might see on the way can be found in this video here! Feel free to check out Liyue's music here as well.

They are intended to depict the Archons in their divine forms.

[Jun is sitting nearby practicing his geo skills like a good little kid. When he hears this, he can't help but mutter:]

The statues' forms are coloured by the perceptions of their makers. I thought it rude to correct what they saw as accurate.

[ Rex Lapis did have no small share of admirers. It's then unfortunate for them that he never had any space to consider things outside of work. ]

["Consider me a different individual now". Meaning in other words...the statue was less some sculptor going completely off the cuff out of uncontrolled thirst and more that Zhongli definitely had a phase where he walked around tits and abs out.

As Jun connects those dots, he just makes a face like he just heard something real gross. Anyone else would understand and there's nothing wrong with Zhongli having such a phase of his life--- but Jun is a child and no child wants to imagine their grandparent doing something like this. Gross. So gross. He hates this.]

[And the moment Jun makes that face, Ana snorts and takes a moment to choke back her laughter; though her shoulders shake from the effort. She can see where his thought process is going, and it takes her a moment to not just cackle like an asshole.]

W-well, it was years and years ago. [She clears her throat with a giggle. While it's a thought she doesn't want to entertain, she's too amused at Jun's reaction to be actually freaked out.]

Though you still kinda look the same as you did years ago... I mean, with the hairstyle and all.

The statues possess healing enchantments. If you present your Vision to them, they can heal you by a small amount.

Though this is dangerous knowledge for Ana as well, considering she is also incredibly nonchalant about being injured and has developed a thing of challenging gods to sparring matches. So easy healing where she also won't get yelled at/lectured?]

[ And these two kids will actually have the absolute reassurance that Zhongli is telling the truth, because of who he is.

[And by a little hurt, he means a stab wound. In other words- it's sus af and he will definitely abuse this and someone should probably put a stop to it ASAP ]

Okay, but I've seen you play off big wounds like it's nothing.

[This is massively the pot calling the kettle black, but they're both still painfully human without fancy regen skills. Jun is also still pretty young, ergo it's a bigger concern.]

Though... Is there a limit to how often we can use it?

[Does it run out of energy eventually? How do the heal bot statues work, Dad...]

It does have a limit. The statues collect the surrounding mana and concentrate them. If you draw out the reserves too quickly, it will need to accumulate mana for some time before it can be tapped again.

[ So no repeatedly running to the statue for heals, just like the Genshin game. ]

[whiteshroud]

[Wow don't call him out like this??? Instead of defending himself and inevitably digging himself deeper into a hole, he'll instead turn around and throw her under the bus]

Yeah, so save some mana for other people and don't use it all up yourself by repeat visits, Ana.

Annnnnnywaaaaay... We have healers too, so that shouldn't be an issue. [Casually steering away from how she can't really deny what Jun said.]

But the statues will be handy in a pinch.

[ There's a knowing twinkle in Zhongli's amber eyes. ]

[ Sure, Forneus can resurrect them, but it's generally not a good thing to do. ]

Yeah, Ana. Please do try to be careful! You don't want to make Zhongli worry more.

[Her agitation seems to diminish a bit when Zhongli expresses his worry, seeming to deflate for a moment. But only for a moment.

Since she soon bristles again at Jun, huffing and planting her hands on her hips.]

[ While his kids may be reckless, he trusts them to not go into suicide missions without consulting him first. Also it's kind of cute watching them try to dunk on each other... not that he'll ever say it though. ]
