September Event
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
Before we depart for our next destination, it seems Forneus has arranged a treasure hunt for everyone... on the beach?

Characters are now able to access the Golden Apple Archipelago, a group of islands lying far off in the ocean east of Mondstadt. Arriving first on Pudding Isle, Travelers will need to glide down from the cliffs onto the beach, where several tents and a bonfire have been set up. A handy Teleport Waypoint nearby allows for traveling back to the camp, as well as to Liyue if you need to stock up on any supplies. The sunlight is warm, the waves are clear, and the breeze is crisp - it's perfect!

A compass-shaped device nearby allows for the summoning of Waverider boats. These boats are piloted by slotting one's Vision into a slot near the steering wheel. There's a catch, though - if a Waverider is nearby, the device will not summon another. Meaning if you are traveling with a friend, there will only be one boat. Better decide who's going to drive.

Apart from the usual Elemental Monument puzzles and occasional monsters guarding chests, you can also find Echoing Conches scattered around the islands. These conches will play back voices of a bygone time when you hold them up to your ear. Many of them whisper of the people who once lived here. Thankfully, their story does not end in tragedy. You might find it rewarding to retrace their footsteps through the islands too.

Minnacious Isle seems to hold a ruin that's upside down. Investigating the monuments and various puzzles might tell you why. Forneus has left various Golden Apples hidden in chests around the islands - find them, and he promises a reward for you. Better get out there and turn over some stones!

State of the World

The Travelers' next destination is the nation of the Electro Archon. However, Forneus needs time to figure out a way to smuggle everyone in - Inazuma is under a Sakoku Decree, preventing anyone from going in and out without express authorization. However, he says he has a contact within Inazuma who can facilitate everyone's permits... but it takes time. For now, he hopes you'll enjoy your time on the islands. The oppressive atmosphere of Inazuma means relaxation won't be on the schedule for quite some time.

As much as Lutha would love to think he is subtle, it will be very easy to tell August has hit a nerve, mostly because the redhead is now immediately trying to push himself out of his prone state like he would be up in August's face if he were not very thoroughly on the ground.]

If he belongs to you then take some fucking responsibility!

[Doesn't matter that the problem was that Lutha got startled and then got hurt and then got embarrassed and decided shooting the bird down was the easiest way to solve all of that in one fell swoop.]

It's a bird. Birds are edible. [Lots of things are edible if you don't think about it but at least birds are a decent sort of edible.] If you care that fucking much about it and don't care about your fucking food, then actually keep it away from other people or give it a fucking tag or something.

Or, and I realize this might be impossible or at least unheard of for you, you could just not try to shoot every fucking thing that pisses you off? Maybe? Or get some anger management lessons? I'd say pet a dog but you'd just try to kill that too.

[August holds his arms out, clearly making himself a target.

(Julian, meanwhile, has flown off. He's either getting the hell out of dodge or getting an adult.)]

Then shoot me. C'mon, you weren't afraid to go after my bird, so come after me.

[He is gun-less and that is on the top of his list of things to immediately fix, but August openly taunting him changes that top item to: having his fist meet August's face.

So that's exactly what he tries to do. It doesn't matter that he only has one hand, that he's thin as a rail, or that the front of his outfit is still scorched. He beelines directly for August with the intent to slam a closed fist straight up into his jaw.]

[August may be a wimp, but that punch was so obvious that he's at least able to duck.

And try to get an elbow in Lutha's chest, because fuck you.]

[Bony elbow lands against a bony chest and Lutha lets out a garbled swear, doubling over slightly. Alright, playing dirty, that's fine with him. Time to hook the stub of his left arm against that retreating elbow while his right flings right back out, trying to grab August by the hair and yank his head backwards as hard as possible]

[He gets August's elbow but that just means he misses August's hair. Either way, August stumbles and decides to use his head to headbutt this guy right in the breastbone.]

[All the air blows out of him as August's skull hits his chest, forcing him blind as he struggles to couch for breath.

It won't stop him from blindly groping for a hold on August with that hand that missed his hair before. His clothes, his other arm, his stupid face- anything, he doesn't care, so long as he can pin August still for a half second. Damn this glove, it's hard to dig his nails in like this.]

August takes this chance to get back for a moment to breath...before trying to get this guy by the shoulders so he can knee him right in the chest. Or dick, whichever.

[August whistles, calling Julian to his shoulder, and off they go to leave this asshole to die quietly on the beach or whatever.]
