December Mingle
Welcome to Teyvat - a vast magical world of adventure.
At long last, the Vision Hunt Decree has been repealed, and the Electro Archon convinced to emerge from her intended eternal seclusion. While it will be years before the scars of civil war heal over, your work here has pushed the balance in the favour of humanity, and away from the destined cycle of repeated conflict. There is no festival to celebrate your triumph, but the clear skies and unsullied waters of the Inazuma islands are yours to explore... that is, until the date of your departure from this world.
Being away from one's homeworld for long periods of time will have negative effects on the stability of mortal souls. This is a fact that not even Forneus can change, so he has elected to send everyone home for the time being to recuperate. Rest assured that your contract will be fulfilled when you step into home soil, and your Vision will be usable, albeit at a lower power.
You may depart Teyvat now, or remain for a few days to wrap up any lingering matters. You also have the Shogun's pass to travel Inazuma as you wish, if you wanted to do more sightseeing, or return to the two previous nations for a last visit. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom now, perhaps because of the events that you have set in motion.
As for Forneus himself, his office has been converted to a suspiciously modern home party venue. Ostensibly, it is to celebrate a job well done, and the continuation of bonds between worlds. You will be able to return to his office whenever you wish, whether to visit your friends' worlds or just to catch up.
Rest assured that he will contact you again once the second phase of his plan is ready for deployment, and to offer you another contract if you desire it. After all, he is a good employer, hmm?
State of the World
The Inazuma chapter of Stella Fortuna has concluded, and with it the current run of the game. Characters are free to explore Teyvat for another IC week or two before they are sent home by Forneus to recharge. The game community will be kept open as a sandbox for old and new players alike to bring in characters during this IC interim period.
Once again, thank you for joining Stella Fortuna, and we hope you have enjoyed your time here!
Please direct all questions to December's OOC post!

The Shogunate Army has decided to ambush Watatsumi Island before its forces can recuperate. Left with no choice, Kokomi asks you to join her people on the front lines to bolster their numbers. Your objective is to repel and not kill them, so she hopes you won't use lethal force. It's not too difficult if you have been practicing your Vision skills, for the Shogunate's soldiers are not Vision users.

Heading west from Narukami Island will bring you to

Just like Mondstadt and Liyue, Forneus wants you to get a feel of Inazuman culture before the team ventures deeper into the nation. The atmosphere here is oppressive - there's a

Apart from the usual Elemental Monument puzzles and occasional monsters guarding chests, you can also find Echoing Conches scattered around the islands. These conches will play back voices of a bygone time when you hold them up to your ear. Many of them whisper of the
Azhdaha makes no attempt to disguise his hatred for the one who had put him to sleep - Morax, now bereft of most of his divine power, cannot seal the dragon again on his own. It's up to you to weaken Azhdaha until his spirit can be put at ease. The dragon hits hard, but you have the benefit of the Geo Archon's shield for the time being.
At last, Azhdaha's spirit appears in the form of a child,
Forneus joins you on your tired trek out of the underground domain. It is with a somber expression that he tells you this is an inescapable fate, even for the gods. For those who live too long, losing their memories is their final curse. Even in Teyvat's artificial stasis, their gods will lose sight of what's important eventually. Some already have.

The Fatui's hurried search only lasts for a few days. In the wee hours of 18th December, Liyue will wake to an

For those who mingle with the Fatui, they would find out that the Snezhayan 'diplomats' have begun to make a move on Guyun Stone Forest. The islands are a place where the remains of old gods have come to rest, and they are under the order of the Cryo Archon to unseal a demon god from where it had been pinned beneath the waves. As for how... it's a closely guarded secret, but travelers would be told that it is a blessing from the Tsaritsa that allows them to do so. There's no way for you to prevent it, only to prepare for battle when the inevitable comes. Such is the rules in a chess game that pits gods against each other, and against Celestia.
Once night falls, a

The Travelers will head out of Mondstadt through Stone Gate, cross Dihua Marsh and then reach the Guili Plains. You'll be camping out under the stars on some days, while getting to enjoy various roadside inns on other days - including the famed Wangshu Inn, all under Forneus' bill. But it does bring up a question: where did he get all that mora from?
People once lived there. The broken buildings host damaged furniture and weathered streets. There are various cloth-covered mounds in a house here and there, accompanied by a sprig of
The highest point in the city is occupied by a temple built into a Domain. Within the Domain is a pale white tree, split in half by a strange object that has fallen through the Domain's ceiling. This temple was once a site for worship for Vindagnyr's people, and even in death they continue to pray for salvation. The priests have been frozen in ice, and the sheer cold emanating from the Skyfrost Nail makes it obvious that it is the cause of winter.
It's hard not to be in awe of Dragonspine Mountain's size. The snow on the mountain never seems to stop falling, neither does it seem to melt - the biting cold numbs your fingers and brushes your face, muffling the footsteps of monsters in everlasting white. Dragonspine is dangerous, and has claimed the lives of countless explorers. You'll need to be extra careful to survive.
As the cold sets in, you come across the ruins of a buried city halfway up the mountain. The stone architecture and runes are eerily similar to what you have seen in Mondstadt's domains and temples. A locked gate bars your way up the mountain, but the five unlit runes that surround it hint strongly at missing keys.
With the passages of long years and amid boudless darkness, even the purest gem will become dulled by dust, and even the noble dragon might be corrupted and cankered by hatred. But never forget that dust can be wiped away, and the power of doubt and poison can be shattered. These are the thoughts that Venti sends off with the outlanders - should any of them fall from the tower, he'll be there to give them a quick hand back up.
The next five days are a blur - when you wake up, the city has decorated itself in a celebration of love, friendship, and freedom - a perfect conclusion for a rather harrowing period in Mondstadt's history. As repayment for your help in solving the Stormterror crisis, the games and food stalls put up for the festival will not charge anything for participation.
